Dallas Skyline: The Better NYC
Who needs the Statue of Liberty when you have the Reunion Tower?

Move over New York, there's a new skyline in town. The Reunion Tower provides panoramic views of the city, but let's be real, you just want to take a selfie with the glowing ball. It's a must-visit spot to watch the sun set over the city while pretending you're part of the Ewing family from Dallas.
The Rudest City? Not us!
You can take the girl out of the South, but you can't take the South out of the girl.
Some folks might say that we're the rudest city in the US, but they're clearly just jealous of our superior sports teams and Tex-Mex cuisine. We're just passionate about what we do and we don't have time for BS. Plus, we'll still say "y'all" and "bless your heart" even while we're shooing you off our property.
Things To Do in Dallas This Week
A Southern city with something to do every day of the week? You betcha!

You might think that once you've seen the State Fair and the skyline, you've seen all of Dallas. But our city is constantly buzzing with new events and exciting things to do. From taco festivals to live theater to hipster craft markets, there's something for everyone in this town. You'll never be bored, but you might need more time to recover from your hangover.
Dallas Architecture: Take a Walk on the Southern Side
Our buildings bring all the tourists to the yard.

Y'all don't need to go to Europe to see some impressive architecture. Just head downtown and look up. From the Renaissance-style Fountain Place to the modern Perot Museum of Nature and Science, our city has a diverse range of buildings that will make your jaw drop. Don't be surprised if you see a few tourists walking backwards to capture the perfect shot for their Insta.
How to Survive in Dallas
It's all fun and games until you sweat through your shirt.

If you're new to town or just passing through, there are some things you need to know to survive in Dallas. First and foremost, it's hot as hell, so bring sunscreen and a change of clothes in case you sweat through your outfit. Second, don't mess with Texas, and definitely don't mess with our sports teams. Lastly, say yes to queso and margaritas, but no to any barbecue sauce that doesn't have a little kick to it.
So there you have it, folks. Dallas might not be the first city you think of when planning a trip, but we've got plenty of reasons to add us to your list. Come for the State Fair, stay for the BBQ, and leave with a little extra twang in your speech. Y'all come back now, ya hear?
